Hi! I'm Debbie

As you are considering sharing your healing journey with me, I would like to take this opportunity to share a little about my own journey and explain why I am so passionate about health and wellbeing.

During my teenage years I began to suffer with digestive issues, mainly bloating which could leave me looking 6 months pregnant, aswell as anxiety, depression and eczema.

Typically these symptoms were treated with medications and creams however they really only helped short term.

After a turbulent time in my early twenties I went to see a herbalist which was my first experience of holistic medicine and I was intrigued beyond belief.

She not only took the time to talk and try to understand me but the herbs she prescribed helped no end in managing my mental health too and I started to feel a real shift.

The physical symptoms were still present though and at the age of 25, as I was planning to get married, at the top of my list was to not only look my best on my big day but to feel as well and healthy as possible.

I was finally referred for a colonoscopy, after which I sat across from the gastroenterologist while he delivered my results. I will never forget his words ‘great news, you don’t have coeliac disease, you can just continue taking a pill whenever you feel bloated’! As far as I was concerned there was nothing great about this!

I wanted to understand what was causing the symptoms, not just mask them with a pill. I wanted to prevent them, not just supress them.

This led me on a quest to heal myself. I was introduced to a naturopathic doctor and this was a pivotal point in my journey.

He had a completely different approach to health and set me on a path to recovery. I followed his advice, making some drastic changes to my diet and lifestyle which led to the most amazing results, leaving me for the first time in a long time, feeling empowered, healthy, energised and well.

During my 2nd pregnancy I was made redundant. I used this as a time to reflect inwards, to decide what I really wanted and how I could turn my passion and interest in holistic health into a career.

I studied for a level 5 mastership in clinical reflexology and before long started to develop a number of clients, all seeking to find alternative ways of improving their health and wellbeing. The wonders of this ancient therapy continued to amaze me daily but the more I worked with clients the more I started to feel a need and desire to be able to support them more holistically in all aspects of their health.

I embarked on a 2 year advanced diploma in naturopathic nutrition which helped to underpin the philosophy I have always held which is that we have an innate ability to heal ourselves and in order to do so we must focus on and improve the environment within our body minds, recognising the important connection between the two.

I continue to read, listen and learn in order to help my clients improve their health and wellbeing whilst I continue on my own personal journey too. I am passionate about health, both physical and emotional and would love to support and guide you to reap the same benefits that I have.
